How was your weekend? Don't ask me yet if I've got all your writing papers graded! :) I've still got a few hours to the day!
I wanted to give you a heads up about our Monday reading. I will be reading one of my favorites called, "the dot." It is written just like that. We will be continuing our discussion on self-awareness and goal setting. I will be handing you a sheet of paper with "Alphaboxes" on it. You will be asked to think of a word that would describe you in a positive way that begins with each letter of the alphabet. So, start thinking... for example, A= attentive, B= ?, C= courageous, D= disciplined, etc. Get the idea? Start thinking about who you are and use the letters of the alphabet to guide you! :)

Hi Mrs.Martin! My weekend was awesome! I got to go buy my flute. Anyways, I can't wait for you to read "the dot." I love listening to stories! I'm also looking forward to the alphaboxes, but I think I will get stuck on the letter Z.
Hi Mrs. Martin! My weekend was great! Did you know today was the Chinese Moon Festival? I celebrated it with my family. I can't wait for tomorrow, so you can read "the dot". I think the alphaboxes will be fun. See you tomorrow! :D

My weekend was great! I got to see my Great cousin, Elisa, and newborn great cousin, Santino. The Dot was a great story, just like you said!And I finshed my Alphaboxes in class... I am just like my paper says, zippy ( Meaning I do MOST things fast )!
Hi Mrs. Martin I had a nice weekend.Reading the dot was very funny. The main character Vashti seems frustrated and mad at the begining, since she did not know what to draw. Drawing a dot made her be creative with dots.
Hi Mrs martin. Mondday was great and also Sundayday. I liked the "the dot" it was kind of funny. The teacher is weird ,she puts a picture of a dot in a... gold picture frame!:o I liked Sunday also because I got to eat mooncake and I also ate with my grandparents.Sunday was Chinise Moon Festival
My weekend was awesome! The dot was funny. By just drawing a dot, it made her famous.
This past weekend was great! I went to my friend's house to play games. The alphaboxes were very fun. I got everything filled in.

Hello! This weekend was great! First, there was a birthday party! I shared tickets with someone and there were a lot! Then, on Sunday, I went to my cousin's baby shower! It was great! I'm so excided for you to read "the dot"! The alphaboxes will be fun too! Byebye.
Hi Mrs.Martin!My weekend was great!I always go with my dad on Saturday
so first my dad picks me up drives me to my guitar class and my cousin Nicole goes there to but after my class so I wait for her.This week instead of my dad bring us to his apartment,her dad is bringing us to their house.So most of the time I went to a birthday party,it was okay but it was my cousin's other side so yeah the birthday party was okay.
