galilaio also belived copernicous so he was sentenced 2 house arrest and claimed he saw the milkyway with a spy glass he made. i dont kno what Sir isaac newton???

Ptolemy believed that the Earth was in the middle of our solar system which was geocentric. People believed that theory for a 1000 years. Copernicus had a theory that the Earth was tilted on an axis and he said that the sun was in the middle of our solar system which was heliocentric. Giordano Bruno was burned at stake for believing Copernicus's theory. Galileo was sentenced for house arrest for also believing Copernicus's theory, so he sat at home eating Milky Way bars. Galileo also found the Milky Way and objects orbiting Jupiter with his spyglass. Sir Isaac Newton found three laws: forces, matter, and motion. From these he published the law of gravity. Sir Isaac Newton was also a physicist and mathematician.
Hi Mrs. Martin! I tried to blog yesterday, but my password didn't work. If someone asked me, I would say that that Ptolemy CLEARY thought that Earth was in the center of the universe. I think this is called geocentric. This theory lasted for a thousand years! Then, Copernicus came and said that the Sun was in the center of the universe. Giordano Bruno, an Italian scientist was burned alive at the stake for believing Copernicus's shocking new theory.Then Galileo made a spyglass and saw mountains on the moon, the Milky Way was made of stars, and there were objects orbiting Jupiter.He was later warned that he should not believe in Copernicus and was sentenced house arrest for the rest of his life. Sir Isaac Newton was an English physicist and mathematician who published the three laws of matter, motion, and forces. From these laws he created the law of gravity. I hope all that is right, because I want to get a good score on the quiz.

Hi. I already took the test. It was pretty easy. By the way, I didn't study so much. I memorized everything in the booklet exept for how to spell the people's names.
Okay well there was the test already , so I wanna say that I went on a road trip for One hour and 30 minutes each way for a total of 3 hours to my Tia's ranch house. And remember I said that I was taking notes on the booklet need to study things you told us? Well I made cards the first 10 minutes and the rest of the time, both ways having my mom quiz me!
It was a long ride but I feel good about my test and want to see my score sooooooo baaaaaaaadllllyyyy!
