Yesterday we discussed what history is and why we study it. We started talking about how we, today, are affected by the past. Brainstorm here, the many ways we are affected by our history. Let's try and blog as many different ways as we can.

Hey Mrs. Martin! If we didn't have the Revolutionary War, there wouldn't be a United States and we would be controlled by another country.

It is 5: 32, Wednesday and I still miss you from not seeing you alot all day. THEN, we go home!! (weep) AHHHH! It is so sad! So, back to the point, I will say what I said in class. I said " Well Mrs.Martin there are many ways that we are affected by the past. Like having different bounderes with, um, lets say Mexico. We would have a much smaller state! And we would really, most definitly have a smaller freash water crises. And not really that many people living in southern CA." Ok, maby I did not act so smart and scholorly but my idea was true, and I did say it in class!! So that would be my answer, and after a few more people blog I might write down another... I mean type. Hi Mrs.Martin! I think that if Henry Ford didn't invent the first car then we would be still walking, and I don't like to walk! You also wouldn't be our teacher if there wasn't a car since you live far away, so I'm glad that he invented it.

Hi m-team queen!The population in southern California is way greater than northern California's population because many people moved to southern California from Hong Kong.The people from Hong Kong moved to southern California because there was a cruel war in Hong Kong.Hong Kong use to belong to the British.But then,China said that Hong Kong belonged to them,so the British and the Chinese started a war.When the war ended,the Chinese won,so Hong Kong belonged to China.That's why I'm chinese and not british.That's one thing I know about history.BYE MRS.MARTIN!gO M-TEAM!

Hi Mrs.Marin. I think we are affected by the past because if Henry Ford didn't invent a vehicle we would have to walk all the time. Although, walking is healthy and a I do like to exercise. Bye!!
