Hi kids!
How are you all? I miss you already and I hope you're having fun being on vacation. I just had to post about Rudy's latest adventure. You know there is no challenge he can not tackle. He doesn't shy away from work either. The following story is just one more example of how resourceful my husband is. Wherever there is an idea and a Rudy... there's a way to get it done!
We've been trying to borrow someone's ladder to put up our Christmas lights, but we haven't been able to find one yet. So, Rudy decided to make his own ladder! He found some left over wood in a corner between garages around here and had to use his truck to pull out the 9 foot 2x4's. He kept backing up and then pulling forward until the wood was free (from all the stuff it was buried under). Then, he worked in the garage for a couple of hours building it just right. He's out on the ledge hanging the lights as I type. Just had to share some pictures with you. He's quite proud of himself, mind you. :)

Hi Mrs. Martin! My vacation was pretty boring until today, because today, my dad finally agreed to put up our Christmas tree!( Well, after days of begging and making him annoyed, of course.) I am planning to stay at my house all Winter Break long, so you can almost always count on me to be the first one to blog. I am still begging my parents to take us somewhere! Anyways, how did Rudy build a ladder? Isn't that dangerous? If I built my own ladder and used it to put up Christmas lights, then my dad would be under me, holding a king sized mattress, my mom would be screaming and telling me to get down or I'm grounded for life, and my sister would be yelling, " Go Doris!!!" Well, I guess it would be quite a show for the neighbors! Please tell Rudy that I'm proud of him, too, and ask him how he did it. Oh, by the way, did you try the chocolates I gave you yet? I love them! I think you will, too. And the soap, to. It's supposed to make you feel relaxed. Well,Merry Christmas!

I am at home doing um..........my usual stuff:practicing violin and flute, doing extra math and language arts homework, working on my Chinese handwriting (it's uneven), and of course, playing with my baby kittens that cannot stop purring for two seconds. Winter and spring break are both very good times to get ahead in schoolwork. It is very useful and important especially spring break because you can study hard for the CST. How did Rudy make that ladder? It doesn't look so safe. How is your winter break? Are you correcting our persuasive essays? did you open our presents yet? Just so you know, there are two presents from our family. The bigger one is from my parents for you to keep at home and the smaller one is from me, for you to put on your desk in the classroom. oh well thats Rudy for yu. anyways my break has been goood so far. my grandma from Indiana sent me and my brother our Christmas packeges ( 3 boxes!) (=0) so we put them under our tree. and some strange reason this year we didnt put light up, only on the inside so on the outside our house looks boring.also im so excited 4 Christmas! I just cant wait! but i have 2 but on the bright side im get to open 1 present on Christmas eve! Family tridition. i had soccer prac. 2day it was ok. 2 days till Christmas! well ill log againthis week. i miss the whole class so much! i dont know how ill get through 2 weeks. well Later

Merry Christmas! For some strange reason, Christmas doesn't feel so Christmasy. It feels all normal. There are plenty of decorations and Cristmas carols but it still doesn't feel like Christmas. By the way, I just came back from a bike ride. Here's a tip: Never ride your bike in cold weather. My eyes are burning right now from the icy wind. I got a bike for Christmas and I just rode it for the first time. My kittens both got new collars. Puma's collar is a girl collar(but there is no such thing as a boy cat collar. Still, he needed it because his and his sister's (Pearlina)collars were both decaying at one end. What did you get for Christmas? What crazy thing did Rudy do? Did you get to see your cat? I'll blog again later.
Hello! I miss you and our class and getting up early! You wouldn't believe what happened to my grandma and papa's dogs! Well i'll tell you what happened to them when we get back in school, but my grandparents had to spend... well... a lot of money! See you back in school!

Hi Mrs Martin,My vacation was great.we went snowboarding and I went sooo fast.I also went to a place called moon caves. The passages there were sooo skinny.They were only about 8-9 inches wide! There were also tunnels .I went into one that was pretty long and I got to the end.I was soo relived. If there were an earthquake while i Was in the tunnel I would be under tons and tons rock.I also went to las vegas for two days. We stayed in a hotel called Circus Circus.It was tottaly awsome there. On thursday we went for a walk on the streets. Suddenly a huge storm and I mean huge storm blew in. It blew rain everywhere and we got soaking wet . We also got blown away a little. My 5 day vacation was tottaly awsome.
