How are you all? It's been awhile and I'm sorry for my absence! We've had family visiting us from out of town and it's been a busy, busy time. I'm feeling pretty tired and am excited to take it easy now. Hopefully, things will calm down for us and we'll be able to enjoy these last few weeks before Shmu comes. I just had a baby shower with friends and got some pretty fun things! I'm going to be washing Shmu's clothes and getting our hospital bags ready for the big day!
What are you guys up to? Who's had the best summer? Who's had the worst? Anyone still going to summer school or taking any classes? How are they?
How that our guests have gone and I have my time back to myself, I'll be sure to blog more often!

Yeah, I've been going to summer school at Suzanne. Today was my last day. During the first period I take a class in the tech lab taught by Mr. Soikelli. Today we launched our rockets we made and made a Powerpoint. In the second period class I take a history of American wars class taught by Mr. Henness. Today we learned about the Iraq War and Mr. Henness who was a Sergeant in Iraq took out his helmet, money from Iraq, and more equipment (except for the gun). He also showed us pictures that he and other soldiers took in Iraq. Finally, we had a water balloon toss! Summer school was fun!!!!!

I'm back from Jr. NYLC! It was wonderful there, learning about past leaders, the six traits of leadership (goal setting, communication, respect, teamwork, problem solving, character), and visiting memorials and monuments in Washington D.C. such as the Lincoln, Vietnam War, and Korean War memorials. Other than learning leadership stuff, I also had some very interesting experiences such as rooming with three other girls and talking with others from all over the nation. How's Shmu? Is he/she behaving well?
Tania-I just came back from D.C. You'll love it there. In D.C. there's so much to see and do that I doubt that you can see everything even if you don't sleep. I have some advice for you.
1)Bring sunscreen. It's very sunny.
2)Get ready to eat seafood.

I Mrs Martin hows shmoo?Are you feeling well?I have summer school at elite Tue. and Thurs. 4hours per day 20 minute breaks did I maenton that I am in Pre algebra guess what I have detention anything under 80% you have to have detention(that totally sucks)I also have 7th grade englishI ts not so easy! my summer really sucks soo many poeple are living at my house I don't get any privacy I hate it all I do this summer is work work work the closest thing I am going to geyt for fun I s going to raging waters with my best friend melody my writing teacher doesn't like my writing and she gave mr an ok score
Elite ends at thre 14 so I don't really have a goo d time only on fri or sun. I hope shmoo is behaving well 1chow!!!
Hi Mrs. Martin! Enjoy your last weeks without shmu! My mom says when I was born, I cried a lot, especially at night so nobody could sleep. It's likely shmu will cry a lot, too because of how hyper he/she is going to be. Anyways, I go to summer school at my chinese school Monday through Friday, and it's tiring because we have three hours of Chinese, then lunch, then English or math, and then swimming (at Nogalas High School) then we get to do whatever we want until we go home. I can't say I am having a great summer, but it's not too bad so far. Please post more often!
hi!! my summer has been ok but its egtting alot better because my bro. is gonna leave for a whole week!!! yipee!! tomarow im gong to a family re-uion ( my moms side) last time i went i found a friend from soccer i have is actually 4th cuz or somethin but she related to me which was a very weird. since its my moms side of the family its alot of peolpe. plusi get to see my cusion Ricky who lives in australia to do school, i haven't seen him other than a video cam on the computer in a year in half.

Yup I have been going to summer school at Star Ed. There is sooooooo much work and Chinese. I love the ping pong and swimming.
