I'm so sorry it has taken me soo long to let you know. We were in the hospital from Tuesday evening until Friday evening and it's been so busy here at home trying to take care of everything. I keep trying to sit down and blog but something or someone :) always interrupts me! So, I can hear Shmu stirring and soon he will want to eat, but I'll write as much as I can now.
I think I mentioned the doctors were worried that he might be a little small and not getting enough nutrients or oxygen. We went in for a test and Shmu did well, but had one heart deceleration (that means that the heart rate dropped too low). They sent us to Labor and Delivery to monitor Shmu. We stayed there for 7 hours hooked up to machines. It was a long and tiring night. Shmu passed the test, but had another deceleration. They told me to come in the following day to test Shmu again. So, I went to the hospital thinking that I would just be going in for a simple test, but while we were there, Shmu's heart rate dropped multiple times and for longer periods of time. The doctors told me they would induce me. That means that they gave me medicine to start my labor. I got induced at 8pm. At 7:08am, Shmu came. Rudy got to catch him and announce to me that it was a BOY!!
Shmu apparently had been moving soo much in my belly that he had twisted his cord so much that not enough oxygen was getting to his lungs! He came out just fine though and he is healthy!! He spent a day in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), just like my friend Esther's babies. He had low blood sugar levels due to being so tiny! He's half the size he looks in the pictures. Sooo small and cute! :)
We are home now, and all is fine! We are LOVING this little bundle of joy! We can't believe Shmu is finally here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

OH MY GOSH MRS. MARTIN! I can't believe it! Your baby! was! born! the! day! before! my! mom's! b-day! Kyle is so cute! I can't believe it! Just wait until I tell Felicia. She's going to scream! (Do you still remember her?) CONGRATS x 1,000! Tell your baby that he shold behave himself. If he was that crazy in your stomach, how crazy will he be in real life? I have to go to sleep now. HOLY SHNIEKIES!!!!! how awesome mrs. martin!! i knew it was gonna be a boy! hes so adorable! i wish i could see him! i miss u soooo much! congratz to the new parents!!!!! this little guy is gonna change yor lives forever.

I hope know that shmoo is born or Kyle (I fell like I still should call him shmoo!)Anyway I wonder if you will get some rest now and be caution of shmoo when he is in his terrible two's.were you suprised that Shmoo was a boy ???I hope people stll blog ! tell Shmoo I said Hi 9 (If you ever want a pet I would sugest a friendly dog small or big you choose but get a dog after shmoo is like 3 then he might like me wonder whydon'ti have a pet Are you going to the alascan cruise I think my mom didn't get your e-mail So maybe youcan ree-mail her .

I checked the blog and I had a friend over so I couldnt blog but I screamed "MOM!!!!!" and she saw the blog and, ya. That day I called Jenna to say "hi" and I turned on my phone and Jenna txted me pics of her new baby bro.!
It's a baby miracle!!!!

Hi Mrs Martin i am back from the west grand canyon i f you dodn't know it is also the place with the skybridge is.I went on it It wasn't scary at all and it is not what you think.$32 per. person.You can live at a wester(cowgoy style place walipi ranch)You can ride wagons and horses you could play cowboy games ang at night you stand around the fire singins songs and making smores !Don't worry they have beds electricity shower ( privet bathrooms )And connecting rooms! I went on a tour called america asia it is close to moutrey park t the morning the cowboys knock on your door to wake up around 4:30-5:thirty Am They woke us up at 4:15 to watch the beutiful sunset trust me its worth it!The meals are huge I couldin't even finish half!On the skywalk you are not NOT ALOWED TO TAKE PICTURES BUT THEY WILL TAKE IT FOR YOU NO CAMERAS CELL PHONES ETC.Yiu caould also go to the airport 15 min. away you could take a helecopter hold six people .then they let you off so you can take a ride on the bout in the colorodo river!you also can go to a place called guano point were you could see 360 around you I went there at sunset to look at the spectacular view! but go down before night or you can't see I think rudy would love west grand canyon (wgc) because he could climb a lot of things!

Schmu is so cute! (Like Valerie, I still feel like calling him Schmu.) By the way, I love the name Kyle Dakota Martin! It has a wonderful ring to it. I can't believe I didn't check the blog sooner. I hope to see you someday Kyle!

Your baby is soo cute i'm soo happy it's a boy i like his name, it is a good name. Congragulations! I wonder what Rudy is teaching him now. :):) I just got back from vacation today and I am very tired. My vacation was so fun except for the 35hrs train ride, it was so boring. then we took a 3hr bus ride to Canada, we arrived at our hotel at midnight.The next day we walked around Vancouver, we went to china town. The cruise was fun and it was seven days. After the cruise we took a plane ride home.The plane had T.V.'s and touch screens and you can e mail to anyone or chat to other people on the plane.There is also free drinks on the plane. We arrived home at 2AM.
